TESTIMONIALS

Fred Whitfield

President, COO, Charlotte Hornets

“When my parents began downsizing their home, I enlisted the services of Celeste Davis. Her assistance in assessing the estate and engaging all of the services needed for my parents to move to a smaller space was invaluable. Putting my families possessions in her capable hands took a huge burden off me. Having a qualified appraiser who walked me through this process, and who was very knowledgeable took the stress out of an otherwise daunting process. ”

Terri Lipsey Scott

Chairman of the Board, The Carter G. Woodson African American Museum

For four years the Carter G. Woodson African American Museum was privileged to have Celeste Davis share her creative skills and artistic "know how” with this growing museum. She generously shared her knowledge as a curator and art installer for several exhibits. Celeste made lasting impressions with the creation of exquisite interior designs for holiday celebrations at the museum. As a part of the national recognition of jazz as an art form she organized a series of "Jazz Chats" involving local musicians. The chats were well received by the community and sparked an idea that has become a tradition here at the Woodson. Celeste has moved on to other endeavors, but I am pleased to make this statement regarding the valuable contributions that she so graciously shared with our museum and the people of this community.

Director, Office of Community Wealth Building, City of Richmond

I had a fantastic experience working with Celeste Davis.  I needed assistance on evaluating family heirlooms and making decisions about the appropriate art for my home.  Celeste was professional and knowledgeable.  I found it easy to rely on her skill set throughout the process.   She is top notch.  In addition, she took the time to understand what type of art would fit my aesthetic.  I was thrilled with her work.

I very much enjoyed serving on St. Petersburg’s Arts Advisory Committee with Celeste.  I found myself seeking and appreciating her counsel  I’m sure her integrity — and style — will help others in her new locale.
